At Hay Creek Kennel We Are More Than Just Dog Trainers….
Our passion for working and training the public’s dogs has brought about an even bigger service that we are striving to provide: teaching the people. The dogs are only going to be as strong as their handler(s) are, and for this reason we are growing as a business to educate dog owners ranging from those who are looking for an obedient household pet to those of you who want to handle an above average bird dog and everything in between. Here are a few ways you can gain more knowledge in how to work and respond to you dog in a way that will give you the confidence and skills you are looking for!
Training Seminars
Hay Creek Kennel hosts a few seminars each year. The majority of these seminars are put on by the HuntSmith™ team. We also occasionally host breed specific seminars. These weekend events are a great way to gain valuable knowledge for training and handling your bird dog.
HCK Mentor Program
New to our business is the Hay Creek Kennel Mentor Program. This program gives individuals the opportunity to spend time with us gaining knowledge and experience of working a group of training dogs at various levels, running a kennel facility, and educating owners.
One – on – One Training
Similar to the HCK Mentor Program, we have an option for the public to spend time with us going over any specific issues they may be struggling with. With the one–on–one time, people are able to work through their specific needs and gain knowledge on how to continue the work in the future.
Home Visits
Hay Creek Kennel provides homes visits as an opportunity for the public to gain knowledge on how to solve and maintain issues that are happening within the household.
